The ‘Uff’ moment of Priyanka-Shahid at the IFFA rocks!

At the IIFA Rocks, a fashion and musical night which is a part of the ongoing 13th International Indian Film Academy Weekend and awards in Singapore, Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra literally brought the roof down with their awesome performance on the song “Uff” from their upcoming film Teri Meri Kahaani.

Apart from the musical night, the runway lit up with gorgeous models walking the ramp for various designers, adding glamor to the entire show.

Designers Varun Bahl, Masaba Gupta and Suneet Verma showcased their collections with star showstoppers.

Following Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra powe packed performance, was Punjabi singer Mika Singh, who performed on songs like “Chinta ta ta”, “Pungi”, “Jugni”, Dhinka Chika and “Subah hone na de”.

Gauhar Khan, a Model-turned-actress also showcased her item numbers like “Jhalla” and “Chokra Jawan” from “Ishaqzaade”.

Shafqat Amanat Ali too followed the gang with his popular songs like “Mora saiyyan”, “Tum mile”, “Bin tere” and “Mitwa”.

Putting an end to a fun filled night was an energetic performances by music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar. They sang numbers like “Sheila ki jawaani”, “Chammak challo”, and “Bharat mata ki jai”

Kareena’s item number in Heroine!

We are all aware about Kareena Kapoor’s item number in her upcoming film, Heroine. The actress has worked extremely hard for it. She was recommended a special diet by her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar to get that perfect curvy and sexy body.

“In fact, most of the people on the sets are now following the diet,” revealed the actress.

Yesterday, the weeks long hard work was seen on ground, when Bebo shot for the number. The song is titled ‘Halkat Jawani’ and is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.

Explaining the scene, director Madhur said, “This is actually an award function where Kareena is performing. She has been mindblowing. We are moving to a new shot and she has stepped out.”

The dance moves have been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.

Tiger Shroff to train Aamir for Dhoom 3!

Aamir Khan is all set to get back his Gajini like tough looks for Dhoom 3. It is heard that the actor has hired a young and dynamic trainer named Tiger Shroff.

Aamir Khan with the help of Jackie Shroff’s son is all set to re build his physique for his villainish look in Dhoom 3. If sources are to be believed, aamir will be essaying the role of a gym instructor and so in order to understand various physical-training techniques in the gym, he is getting trained by one..

Tiger Shroff is yet to start his acting career. So why did aamir choose a young fresher, when he could get a much more matured and experienced trainer???

Well, introducing Tiger to the world, for the past four years, he has been into hard core training. Been an athlete and a football player in school, has been practicing martial arts since the age of 14.

Aamir is so much impressed with Tiger that he is ready to go to any extent and has already made plans to launch him in the film industry.

Priyanka-Kareena, friends??

Looks like, Priyanka Chopra is on a patch up spree. Letting bygones be bygones, the actress recently attended KJO’s birthday party and the latest is that she bonded with Kareena kapoor on the sets of Heroine.

Priyanka was shooting for Teri Meri Kahaani special promotional episode for a TV show in Filmistan Studios, on Wednesday. The actress suddenly remembered that Madhur Bhandarkar too was next door shooting for Heroine. In that way, she visited the sets and met Madhur and Kareena as well.

Priyanka Chopra tweeted, “Hopped in on @mbhandarkar268's set of heroine and hung out with Bebo and my entire fashion team..such fond memories..”

Rowdy Rathore gets good response so far!

Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathore is on its way to becoming a blockbuster, besides giving the him his best opening at the box office.

The audiences have somehow taken a liking towards Akki’s action hero avatar, in the film.

The first two days saw a collection of Rs.29.8 crore. The opening day made Rs.15.10 crore. Rowdy Rathore opened in 2,800 screens all over the country and is stated to be Akshay’s widest release so far. The film was made with a budget of Rs.45 crore.

The film is directed by Prabhu Deva and co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. After seven years, we finally get to see Akshay in a full-fledged action role.

Sonakshi Sinha is the leading lady in the film.

Salman and Katrina in Thailand!

The cast and crew of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are in Thailand for the shooting of Kabir Khan’s film Ek Tha Tiger.

Salman and Katrina are captured in a pic, posing with a unit hand.

The teaser trailer of Ek Tha Tiger is out and has received a tremendous response. The film has been shot in Ireland, Turkey, Cuba, India and Thailand.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have been together through out the shoot. Rumors had it that the lost romance between the two is growing once again. However, a quick denial came from both of them.

“When we start working for a movie we go in as professionals. I am here to do my job and if people want to highlight baseless stories then it’s up to them. I don’t think that these stories will have any effect on my work and the film…I am never bothered about such stories. Why should I? I think it’s what every actor goes through,” Katrina Kaif had recently said.

Why did Sonam Kapoor call Katrina Kaif shameless?

Sonam Kapoor while talking to a journalist in Cannes, allegedly called Katrina Kaif “shameless”.

So what did Sonam mean by that nasty comment?
Well, the actress was talking about Katrina Kaif not knowing good hindi, yet making it bing in the film industry.

Sonam also said she would want to present Kats with a bouquet.
When asked why, she said: “I don’t know how she does it. You need a certain kind of commitment and a certain kind of shamelessness to do certain things.”

Well, we wonder how will Kats digest Sonam’s comment. Though Sonam must’ve not said it with a bad intention, she surely could have good better words.

Genelia D’Souza turns mentor to young girls!

Genelia D’Souza who recently tied the knot to Ritesh Deshmukh, is soon going to mentor ten young girls on the TV show “Lux The Chosen One”.

“The show is about 10 beautiful girls who are here to prove a point and be the face of the UTV Stars. All the girls are confident and they know exactly what they want. It’s not like a typical reality show where everyone is just there to make some noise,” she said Wednesday at the launch of the show.

The hunt is for the face of UTV STARS.

So why did Genelia chose to groom the girls??

“When I was a newcomer, I needed all of this (mentoring), unfortunately I didn’t get anything. This is a platform where they can learn and outdo each other.”

“Sometimes you need that interest and comfortable age difference. They can listen to me and speak to me. This why I thought I could help. Be it my ads or films, I have always played a girl who is relatable and this is like that too,” said the 24-year-old.

So what’s the show all about?

“I am a mentor on ‘The Chosen One’ and we will invite Bollywood experts who will give them (the contestants) tasks. I will help the girls. If they have a problem, they will bring it to me. I will observe them and at the end of the day, we will have elimination.”

Genelia D’Souza will show the other side of her otherwise bubbly and friendly nature.

“You have to be strict sometimes because you have to teach them, so sometimes I will have to be strict. But 90 percent of the times I am their friend,” said the actress.

Sonakshi Sinha is not a bold actress!

Sonakshi Sinha is one actress in the Bollywood industry, who has made it very clear from the start that she is not a very bold person and is not open to doing item numbers. However, if the item song is presented in the right way, she will consider doing it.

“I haven’t been offered any item number till now. If there is a good song, I am convinced enough and I am presented in a right way, then why not,” Sonakshi Sinha told reporters Tuesday.

The actress is busy promoting her second film, Rowdy Rathore. She shares screen space with Akshay Kumar. The film is directed by Prabhu Deva. It releases Friday.

Talking about “Chammak challo chail chabeeli” in “Rowdy Rathore”, Sonakshi says,
“‘Chammak challo chail chabeeli’ is not an item song. It’s a very situational song with a wedding as its backdrop,” she explained.

Like Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha will re live her demure village belle in Rowdy Rathore, too.

“I am not waiting to get a role that will change my desi girl image, but still if I get something, which requires me to be more westernised and my character is good I won’t mind doing it. Right now I am happy representing my own culture,” she said.

Emraan and Kareena in Karan’s next film?

Karan Johar’s next flick might see Kareena Kapoor opposite Emraan Harshmi. However, all details about the film are kept under wraps. With Emraan giving back-to-back hits, Bebo is eagerly looking forward to working with him.

It is heard that, Hashmi has already signed his first flick with the Karan camp and is fast becoming a favorite of many producers, including Karan johar.

If buzz is to be believed, Kareena is reworking on her dates just so that she gets to work with Emraan.

Says a source, “As Kareena and Emraan are a very fresh pair, she’s very keen on working with him. She is excited to be part of the Karan film.”

First Look: Son of Sardaar

Son Of Sardaar, starring Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, is out with its first poster.

In the first look, Ajay Devgan is seen a Sikh sardar, dressed in a flannel shirt and denims, entering a threshold with a bag on his shoulder. In the other poster, we see Sanjay Dutt, dressed in a pathani suit, wearing a turban, holding a rifle in his hand.

It is heard that in the film, the character of Sanjay Dutt had to wait for the return of the character of Ajay Devgn, for like 30 years.

Son Of Sardaar (SOS) is a remake of the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. The story revolves around two warring sardaar families. The film is directed by Ashwani Dhir and it also stars Juhi Chawla.

Son Of Sardaar will hit theaters on November 13.
